Join us for an extraordinary journey into the wild heart of Africa with SERENGETI – JOURNEY TO THE HEART OF AFRICA 3D. 

This special screening supports Nicole Kearney, Manager of the Australian branch of the Biodiversity Heritage Library (BHL) and Communications Director for BHL globally, in her journey to Tanzania with 64 women in STEMM as part of the Homeward Bound Leadership Initiative. This global program empowers women in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine (STEMM) to lead with impact for the future of our planet.

The evening will also feature a special presentation from Nicole, where she'll share insights from her leadership journey, her work making global biodiversity literature openly accessible, and how she's fighting for the future of our natural world. 

Nicole has dedicated the past 25 years to advancing biodiversity projects across museums and zoos. Through her work with the Biodiversity Heritage Library, she connects people to the very foundations of biodiversity knowledge – providing access to the critical literature that underpins global research and conservation efforts. Her participation in Homeward Bound’s first-ever African expedition is a unique opportunity to amplify this mission and bring new leadership skills back to the global biodiversity community.
